  23. Actually, the A1200 price IN THE UK was/is high. In Germany and here
  24. in Holland, it is not much higher than it used to be (at the Cologne
  25. fair, I noticed the German prices were already back at their old
  26. level).

  28. The price difference of AT A1200's was, from the outset, pretty steep
  29. between Germany and the UK. A colleague of mine asked Gilles B. about
  30. this, and I believe the answer had something to do with high import
  31. taxes in the UK (or something, I'm not an economist).

  33. So it's not that surprising that sales in Germany were much better
  34. than in the UK, IMHO. But I think it's noticeable that it is not
  35. an A1200 price problem per se; more of an "AT/UK" problem.
